I love when people point out the obvious. >_>

Oh and yes, the internet channel is fun, although typing isn't exactly practical.

Shia Kyosuka wrote:heh, right. I'm a fanboy because I don't have trouble typing. huh... :/
Yeah... if that was a joke, then I didn't find it very funny.

Sorry?
EDIT: No, on second thought, I don't apologize for that. It is very hard to try typing with the wiimote pointer. It's bad enough just putting names in on Miis, but having to do it consistently to do web surfing would be absurd. So, yes, I find that the mark of a fanboy to say it is easy. Even using a d pad is annoying, but not as annoying as the pointer. At least with the D pad, your arm won't get tired from holding it in that general position for a long time. I mean, I suppose you can rest your hand just right to get the wiimote to work, and swing your wrist around, but... Then you have OTHER problems. No, I know the thing has USB connections, so I'd definately want mouse and keyboard, or at least keyboard for my web usage... Wiimote makes an ok mouse replacement, not a keyboard replacement...
The real issue is I wasn't being malicious or anything when I said it. I was commenting on the issue of typing with the thing, and having someone say it's easy... I'm sorry, I don't see it. It would be slow, with more opportunity for typos than with a standard keyboard, and, unless they made a backspace on, say, the trigger, which would have made sense, you'll have to move off the "natural" portion of the onscreen keyboard to the backspace button... At best, it's like typing with a pencil. At least with a d pad, you always lock onto the letters, but typing with a d pad is attrocious too...

EDIT: No, on second thought, I don't apologize for that. You're a fanboy because you don't share the same opinions and don't fatigue as easily as I do. You're supposed to have the same amount of trouble typing with the Wiimote as I do, because everyone is the same as I am. Only faaanboys wouldn't have as much trouble as I with something that that requires a certain amount of skill such as the wiimote.
Shia Kyosuka wrote:Terribly sorry. I should've seen the error of my ways.
Now that I've thought about it, being better than you at typing with the wiimote IS fanboyish. Not ever getting fatigued while typing with the wiimote is fanboyish, too. My opinions of typing with the wiimote should have been the same as yours, because you're the voice of all gaming truth.
I'm a fanboy because we're not the same. Thank you for helping me realize that.

Hmm... Changing my post in your quote. Clever, Shia. Maybe I should just call you "one-button."Ikimasu wrote:Regardless of how easy or difficult it is to use, console makers just need to allow full QWERTY keyboard support. I hate using any browser on a device that doesn't use a full keyboard. Without a keyboard, the browser becomes a novelty that doesn't get much (if any) use from me.
