PC Games

Postby Destroyer2000 » Sun Dec 24, 2006 12:32 pm

What are some good PC games? I"m getting a new PC very, very soon...tomorrow, perhaps? I want to know what are some good games for it, other than WoW. I've got a friends trial copy waiting to download. I don't care what genre they are, either.

Yeah, somewhere along the line I intend to pick up the full Half-Life pack; TFC, Blue Shift, etc.

If you don't care whether the game is actually finished yet (as long as it's playable... ), may I recommend the game I've been making all by myself for many years? It's called The Traveller's Guide. :)

You may wanna get gametap, as that has a good collection of older computer games, too... It actually has some newer ones like splinter cell, but I prefer stuff like Sim Tower... That probably isn't as mass appeal as some of the other games on there.

In addition to that, they have what I consider to be one of the best games ever made, Silent Hill 2, but I'm not sure if the PC version is any good... They're slowly getting better and better games, so this is a pretty good deal, if you have the monthly fee.

Comand and Conquer: The First Decade - Has pretty much all of the C&C games together (even updated versions of the old ones so they all work on Windows XP)

Thanks. Any others? I'm probably not going to touch the Quake series...too many pentagrams and such.
