The year is 1999 and the year for the Yule Ball and the TriWizard Tournament. After the passing of Dumbledore, it has been decided that Harry Potter shall become Head Master, guided Professor McGonagall. Quidditch will not be postponed for the year due to the Triwizard Tournament, but shall remain as a possible challenge. As Voldemort has returned, extra guards and rules are enforced, as when Sirius Black had escaped. Classes shall continue as usual and the rules the same. The schools competing in the Triwizard are Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and Durmstrang Institute for Magical Study and shall be hosted once more at Hogwarts in memory of Cedric Diggory. Severus Snape shall once more be the teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts and potions this year. With that information passed, let us allow the year to commence.

Rules: No taking over another’s character without permission under ANY circumstance.
No God Modeing.
No using any Unforgivable Curses.
Use proper punctuation. Not full out proper grammar but use periods, commas and quote marks.
Try to avoid one-liners. While this is hard when you’ve nothing to do or anyone to talk to, try to avoid it.

would this just be in the Harry Potter universe - ie Hogwarts? Or is it a part of the storyline. What time period does it take place in? Is Voldemort still an issue or is he gone?

Seems like it could be a fun rp, but if it's just like everyone playing a character from the book and/or following the books storyline I don't think I'd want to be in it. OOCness bugs me to death and that seems to pop up alot when portraying HP characters.

Other: Attends Hogwarts as a transfer student because his original school was burned down by prejudiced muggles. The magical jewel in his wand can double his own innate magical power if he desires.
Note: Lapis is actually the name of a type of gem. It's an in-joke.

Type of Wand: Mahogany, the color of which matches her hair almost perfectly. The center is a single hair from a unicorn's mane and the length of the wand is 13".
Eye Color: Green.
House: Gryffindor.
Other: People who know Aslynn well will sometimes break her name down and use it's parts, "As" (pronounced "Az") and "Lynn" as nicknames. However, I think I'd probably prefer it if you PMed me if you happened to want to be one of those people that knows her well, just to help me so that I'll know how to write her best.

Weight: 132 lbs.
Personality: Pretty cool and laidback, Aslynn doesn't seem to care too much about impressing others but often will anyways for that very reason. She is diligent and level-headed, making her a good student. However, she can sometimes forget important things because she has too many other things on her mind.
Bio: Aslynn is just an average Hogwarts student. She doesn't have a dark past or really anything worth mentioning.
