Her name is Orihime. And yes, those clips are so cool. It made me like her, in spite of her ditziness. And I usually don't like ditzy types

Well, the explanation (one which I've never been completely satisfied with) goes that all that massive spiritual power Ichigo possessed leaked out and was affecting those who were close to him. This is why Orihime and Chad developed their own powers during times of danger and stress.

But don't expect that to happen to any of the other bit characters anytime soon. As of the current manga there hasn't been a repeat of the Orihime-Chad incident. Though Tatsuki does seem another likely candidate.

What I'm surprised about is that no one mentioned the Menos Grande episode. The Hollow itself isn't that impressive, but with Urahara's group coming in there should be a lot to notice (for one, the other shopkeeper guy kills a Hollow with his bare hands, which you have to admit is cool). Most specifically, Urahara actually binds Rukia when she tries to help. That always struck me as highly suspicious and at the least manipulative.

TB:Father Abel saved her earlier in the series.According to Wikiepedia that Star
on her back will have a significant role later on in the series.

Bleach:Rukia is afraid that the Soul Society is hunting her down.

Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the next several episodes of Trinity Blood. With Christmas vacation there is almost no way I'll get a chance to see any of them.

mssthang1 wrote:does esther have a thing for father abel (that's his name right)

Yes, that's correct. I rather suspect the authors intended to imply that relationship (consider the ending credits, for example) despite how little sense it makes in the context of celibacy.

mssthang1 wrote:why did rukia run away instead of telling someone what's up

That's actually a good question, because there's not really a thing she can do to avoid getting captured by them. But all of this will be revealed more in the episodes to come (unless there's a lot of fighting I forgot about).

I think next week they are showing a InuYasha Movie Marathon, so we will not have eps next week

That's fortunate, I suppose. But things won't be calmer on my end until about January 9th, so I'm likely to miss episodes anyway. This post is a bit pointless, because I could just check the online schedule, but I'm not concerned enough to do so for something I can't change anyway.

How do you people like the music in Trinity Blood? I think it does a great job at setting the mood.
Oh and I loved that scene in the hot spring at the end. Way to avoid the fan service, Gonzo!

With the marathons, you shouldn't miss more than one episode.

Plus, do you have access to high-speed Internet during Christmas break? There is the option of AS Fix the Friday before it premieres on TV.

It probably depends.I think that they're both at around episode 13 by now.
Then the question is how long is Trinity Blood?I think Bleach is a longer series, don't qoute me on that though.

Bleach will go on for a good while longer as well. Unless the manga becomes significantly longer than I anticipate, however, it probably won't hit more than 200 episodes (they do a better job than some of not stretching things out). So far about 40 episodes have been spent on filler and they might have another filler arc if they catch up with the manga again, though.

Ah, good. I wasn't sure how many marathons they were playing.

Unfortunately I don't, or I'd pursue that option.

The first season so far on Bleach seems to have been mainly spent on introducing the main cast and setting things up for the first main storyline.

That cat last week was the funniest anime cat I've ever seen since Gigi in Kiki's Delivery Service.

Trinity Blood consists of 24 complete episodes.

That is a question that has already been answered, Grub.

Everyone, read post #256. The question of episode length was answered very well by wingzero22.

To add something of substance: it looks as though episode 110, airing in about three weeks in Japan, will be the end of the filler. How they handle the next episodes will tell a great deal about how long the overall series will be.

I hate the Bleach trailers. They don't even serve their purpose.
And as for Trinity Blood, I'm surprised no one knows what the Empress looks like. The only reason I knew that "sweet little girl" was her was because I'd read an anime insider article.
I read the Wikiepedia article on Trinity Blood which is why I know who the real
Empress is.Though in the scene when Father Abel is supposed to meet the
Empress he automatically knows the truth.
As far as Bleach goes, they do show what's going to happen in the next ep.but it's
rather a running gag that they don't really say what's going to happen, they just show some random scenes.

She's a Krusnik, technically. I wonder how much of a role she'll play in the rest of the plot, though. Right now she seems under-utilized. But what I found more interesting is how Abel has been starving himself... I wonder how he'll resolve that.
