451 looks like a common timeout error on mailserver software, though thats just with a quick google, it could be on theirs or your ISP's end. Which domain is the address anyway (ie @yahoo.com, @comcast.net)?
Though if it's been several days already the easiest solution may to be change the address you want to verify, or try to directly contact an admin with another email.
