I've seen the first episode and I liked it. I'll get around to watching the rest sooner rather than later.

The quality look to be pretty good to me. Pretty typical TV type quality. Not quite as good as OVA, but definitely not done on the cheap.

I watched the first episode. The show was decent, but also kinda "meh" at the same time. The comedy elements look like they'll be funny (I also saw a few of the later episodes at Geneon's panel at Sakura Con earlier this year), but all in all the story feels somewhat cliche' and contrived a little bit, like "oh, I've seen this before". I guess we'll just have to see. http://www.animeondvd.com usually gives thorough reviews for many shows, and they didn't give Gelade very high marks O.o
Note: when you read their reviews just scroll to the bottom of the review page and read the reviewer's summary as so to avoid reading the actual content review; the content segement of the review is usually really in depth but also has the potential to give spoilers if you're not careful!

I've seen the whole series, what do you want to know? It's not the most fantastic series ever that's for sure. After a certain point you want to scream "would they just get there and finish the show!" and it's not even that long of a series. The ending also picks up a lot more of the new age religion mumbo jumbo that they only hint at in the beginning episodes. But it's so ... out there already it's pretty easy to not take the religion stuff seriously. There's also some questionable girl + girl stuff, that I can't remember to describe well because I blocked it from my mind.

Personally I would say if you are going to buy a series, buy something else, but if you have a chance to see this for free go ahead.
