How many Crusniks are there in the world?Besides Father Abel, and do they all keep it as secret as he does.Though I suppose he has to given the fact that if people knew what he was they would freak out.

Back to Bleach,is it my imagination or is Uryuu played in the dub by the same VA who did Ken in season 2 of Digimon?Or was I whacked over the head by Jeri's
Sock Puppet of Doom one too many times?

I don't know how many Crusniks there are, but my guess would be at least a couple. I do, however, know that Uryuu's VA is indeed the guy that did Ken in Digimon. ^_^

She was alright as characters go. However, I wish the story would stop introducing characters and start having some more in depth development. If she returns I won't complain, I suppose. It is interesting how much derision Abel takes without bringing up the fact that he's a Crusnik.

This seems to be a pattern with the Gonzo show's I've watched. I noticed that with both Last Exile and {i]Gadguard, you have to wait until about the double-digit episodes before we start getting any character development. (Although, in Last Exile, that was a good thing. I liked the pacing on that series.)
There are three more crusniks and all of them have names from the bible and or biblical lore. And yes they do keep the secret
Meanwhile on Trinity Blood it looks like Father Abel had his hands full with that
Methuselah female agent.Talk about having a brick on your shoulders, she was acting like she had an entire town on hers!

The female agent name is Duchess of Odessa, Astharoshe Asran. There is a reason why she acts like that.

See below, but is a spoiler.
Astharoshe is a vampire
The Methuselah is an empire, which is also called the The New Human Empire.
The leader if this empire is a crusnik
I haven't watched enough of it to be able to tell you specifically (and it would be a TV edit, anyways), but here's the review from CAA's database.

I'm watching Bleach unedited, so I can answer any specific questions. In addition to what is said in the review, I will add only that later on there will be some sexual dialogue/innuendos and there are some slightly disturbing elements with Ichigo's father that seem to imply pedophilia, or at least have echoes of it.

I think all of the major characters have been finally introduced on Bleach with
Uryuu's official appearance last week.Unless there is someone else who hasn't
appeared yet.

Well, there is another character who appears in a few episodes that I'd consider to be pretty major. But that's about it. Although, once the series gets underway, we get introduced to a whole bunch of secondary and minor characters (like around 30 or so)...

As a sidenote, while I haven't done episode-to-episode comparisons, I am reasonably certain that Adult Swim has been running Bleach unedited.

There are still so many characters that haven't been introduced quite yet. I love Trinity Blood and Bleach. But I do agree that there was some things that I didn't like that were a bit of an insult to Christanity.

I watch TB in Japanese and Bleach in Japanese aswell. And I love it! I first saw Bleach in english, then in Japanese, and tried watching it in english again. It was weird. But! The voice acting is still great in the dub. But I don't like Rukia-san's nor Uryuu-san's voice actors. Da dude who voices Uryuu-san in Japanese is da same dude who voices Sasuke-kun from Naruto. So yeah.... But they did put work into the voice acting in Bleach. I haven't watched TB in english yet though.

Who does Uryuu in the dub?

Back to Trinity Blood,I thought for a moment that Father Abel was going to transform into his alter ego when the Inquistorial Army attacked.I guess he tries to hold it back as much as possible.

He's done a pretty good job of keeping it a secret as well. That makes sense, but I'm somewhat annoyed by how much time he spends messing around. I like his serious side better.

MasterDias wrote:Well, there is another character who appears in a few episodes that I'd consider to be pretty major. But that's about it.

I agree as far as main characters go. However, Hitsugaya won't be introduced for a while and he has quite a few appearances as well. Not to mention a certain group of villains...

I understand, but Able also had to show that she was breaking order to the boy.

I think its interesting that the Boy doesn't realise that he caused some of the problems by coming in the way he did, if he had came in, in a respectful manner they wouldn't have thought he was tring to kill her.

Note that Father Abel says "Not everything is as it appears."just moments before revealing that all he had been using was his finger pressed against the older

That had a great part in it, yes. But it is still inadvisable to begin diplomatic negotiations by showing up in someone's room at night dressed in robes and demanding that they stay where they are. I accepted it because most vampires seem to be blinded by their arrogance to the point of stupidity.

They might have been in a rush too to get the negotiations started.I mean when
a major city is leveled like what happened to Madrid you're not going to want to
take it all slow and easy when you don't know when and where the next attack will take place.

Actually, I may be the only one here who likes Esther. I like how she's gone from weak and timid to strong thanks to Father Abel's guidance.

For those of you who have missed episodes, Adult Swim will be airing a Bleach marathon on December 30th (a Saturday). It doesn't look as though there is a similar marathon for Trinity Blood, however, which is unfortunate because I actually want to see the episodes I've missed of it.

Regarding it, I generally support subtle plots and characters that don't break out their power at every opportunity, but Abel needs to transform into a Crusnik again soon. I'm becoming somewhat impatient with the pacing and their plot otherwise isn't always good enough to make up for the lack of action.

I meant to post this earlier, but I've continually forgotten. The most recent episode succeeded in interesting me in that it revealed how serious the dichotomy is between Abel's normal self and his Crusnik form. Previously I had assumed that as a Crusnik he was merely always on the serious side of his somewhat bipolar personality, but that appears not to be the case. One part of that episode earned raised eyebrows in a good sense:
Vampire: ...I am a Methusalah!
Abel: You are prey, and I will hunt you down and consume you.
Heh. Good stuff.

Man, that guy is CREEPY! Just like a good villain should be.

I liked that part on Bleach a couple weeks ago when Oroyimae(sp?)discovers her hair clips are really fairylike beings that are sent to help her. That was nice sequence. So does that mean almost everyone as some sort of hidden power?
