I haven't even seen the whole first movie :/ I grew up with the second one though, because it was like, one of the first movies I owned. I loved it^^ And still own it, making it about a 16 year old VHS, still working^^

Heh, I think it's time to make that move to DVD, my friend! I just got the DVD in the mail from (where else?) ebay, and am watching it for the second time! I'm scared that I still remember almost all the words from the movie!

Anyway, J5 is the coolest robot EVER! You can keep your Eva's and your Gundams--I want Johnny Five!

Anybody got any favorite scenes to recall?

I've seen them both, and thought the first one was pretty cool -- but somehow I didn't like the second one as much. ^_^;

I love these movies!!! I've seen them like a million times. I'll rent both of them every once in a while. J5 rocks! I think both movies are great but I like the second one a little less because Guttenberg and that girl weren't in it.

Its a wonder that a 3rd movie was never made or even a TV show or anime of it. Just imagine Johnny 5 running around as a American citizen. What type of job would he have and what he thinks and his friends.

Could it have something to do with...
The scene when J5 is being owned by the three bad guys. That scene, in hindsight really freaked me out, and I was honestly moved almost to the point of tears!
My favorite quote from the movie has to be when Ben finds out that Fred tried to sell J5 and he goes crazy and says "HOW COULD YOU MISPLACE A 700 POUND CAR KEY?!"
