Hmm...well the show was very entertaining. Had a great mix of comedy and drama...although I found the ending a little weak. And wolfwood seems to be an endearing character to everyone, despite the possible problems you'd think he'd cause being a priest and all. I'm not sure exactly what it is about the show that made a lot of fans enjoy it...I guess because all and all it was entertaining and (for the most part) fairly clean.

Why do I love Trigun? Well it's my 3rd favorite anime. Cause one I like the animation. It's also comedy and drama all rolled into one. Vash is such a cool character it's not hard to love the guy. Wolfwood is such a hypocrit but still you gotta love the guy (and his Cross Punisher). The show has awesome characters, a fun little story thats filled with history involving mad-kind and Vash's beliefs. And the connection betwwen Vash and Knives is intresting. Plus you don't find many sci-fi/western anaimes aorund so I thinlk it has a genre of it's own :)

Plus you can beat

LOVE AND PEACE!!!

I like Hitokiri's description...I think that fits the way I feel very well...:)

Does there always have to be a reason? I totally agree what Ashley and Hitokiri have said. My da loves westerns and me always trying to be daddy's little girl watched them with him all the time so I love that aspect. And well, there isn't much to say- how could you not love Vash and Wolfwood!

I'm actually not as gung-ho about Trigun as a lot of people seem to be. It would probably be near the lower part of my Top 20 favorite animes, but definitely not in my Top 10. Still, it is a good show. I think the reasons I like Trigun are the animation, the comedy, and the unique setting (sci-fi Western) that a lot of people have mentioned. Vash and Wolfwood are pretty good characters, too.

gung-ho guns..hehhehehh...get it gung-ho...gung-ho guns....

ok, a bad pun from Trigun.

I do like the Gung-Ho Guns and I find the gorup intresting. I based a group of mine in my manga of the Ging-Ho Guns. In the manga version, I heard there were 3 others that did not make an appearence.

It is my favorite. Well, tied now with Haibane Renmei.

I love the unique world, and the world-building present in the story. Yes, there are some things that are unexplained that drive me crazy (how the heck do they get salmon for salmon sandwitches on a desert planet?), and the character development. I don't think there is a character in the anime that I do not like on some level.

For instance... there's so much emoitional conflict apparent in the main characters. Wolfwood has this division... he wants to protect people, yet he does a lot of bad things... Vash... my goodness, It's rare to find a character with that many emotional facets - he tries to fight for what he believes in, but runs into so much conflict... He has many sides to him, happy, angsty, DIABLO... heh, heh.

I also really like the messages in it. Love, Peace... the importance of the future.

I've really latched onto Vash as a character. He encourages me. It's like, no matter how bad life gets, there is always the future and always something to live for, and one must do the right thing and try to make the world a better place any way one can. Really, he's the anime character I feel the strongest emotional attatchment to besides Reki and Rakka (Haibane Renmei)... and, well, Trigun is a longtime obession. HR is recent for me.

I guess I like it because I like animes that a lot of emotional drama and present the audience with moral dillemas. Anyone can make an action flick, but it takes real talent to get the audience to feel for the characters and the moral conflicts that they face. The episode Sin is a great example of this.

Well, It's not my favorite anime but I did enjoy it. The main characters were very interesting and it had a couple of psychotic villians.

Vash's gun skills were pretty cool to watch in action.

Hmm... That's it in a nutshell. I could give a more detailed explanation, but I'm feeling too lazy right now. It's my favorite anime though. Feel free to ask me any questions you want. Love and Peace! :thumb:

Well, it has a great mix of every thing you could possibly put in a story or anime. Its funny and deep and action packed. The story is origional and short yet still wonderfully told and played out. Characters are excellent and personable too! Its just the best anime I have ever seen and very unique! ^_^

First reason: Knives. Can't get past Knives. :thumb: Everything else: It totally kicks. I mean, it's characters aren't perfect, like some are. There's quite a few bishies. (*cough* Knives again *cough*) The story line is pretty good. There is one constant thing in every episode. (It irks me to death though. Dumb cat. :brow: )

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.
