Is One Piece's Grand Battle any good?

The reviews I've read say its not that good, but they might have been taking the "all anime games are c***" point of view.

If this is NOT a good game, please tell me what is the best game you've played. As long as its a clean one, please no recommendations for games like Bloody Puppets or something like that. ;)
Thanks! ! ! !

Grand Battle was a decent fighting game.

You could check here for reviews of games to see other people's input:

Don't worry. I'll start you up wth the following link:

What game would I recommend?
Let's see, do you like genres besides fighting?

i played the demo. it's okay but i'm not that big a fan of 3d fighting games. i like side scrolling-type adventure or action games so i can't really judge grand battle.

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

I've played some of it and it seems pretty good. If you have a Gamecube and want the game though, it'd suggest ordering One Piece: Grand Battle Rush, which was the original game (more levels, characters, modes, and GOOD voices =p ).

Or you could try Grand Adventure, which seemed pretty good (I'd get it, but again, the voices...).

Which appear ever so often.

Serisouly, VAs don't excactly affect the gameplay. They can affect the overall gaming experience, but this is just a fighting game. In fighter games, you could blast your stereo right next to the TV and wouldn't miss a thing.

If it was an RPG with bad voices, then that would be a different story.

Actually, I'd say it might be worse, since they tend to talk alot more (and more repetively) in fighting games than in RPGs (though yes, they rarely say anything important). >_>

Well, I suppose you are correct in that sense, but during fights in Grnad Battle the only thing that they say out loud is the name of their moves, which as we know is poorly named.

So yeah, Myoti, I do understand where you're coming from, but voices still don't affect the gameplay.
