I like Isis/Yami Bakura, as well, mostly because of how the Ishtar family reunions will end up being if that happens... Bakura/Anzu, eh? That's one I hadn't given much thought to.

Lol, Malik x Anzu.... that's kinda funny. You know what I think is funnier though is Yugi x Anzu, I mean they actually have Yugi kind of showing off for Anzu in the manga, but she's completely oblivious... the thought of Yugi being anybody's boyfriend is pretty funny. Speaking of Yu-Gi-Oh!, one of my favorite pairings is Jounouchi x Mai (I don't know if that's her Japanese name or not)

Yep, Kujaku Mai's her Japanese name. I don't mind it; there's tons of evidence for it in the series....it's just that she's, um, seven years older than he is. -_-

But I don't really see what's wrong with such relationships; I mean my friend's parents are 11 years apart and they're some of the nicest people I ever met. I mean I can see how a 20 year difference would be really strange, but 7 years isn't too far apart if you're an adult. Of course, Jonouchi's not an adult yet. Honestly I never knew Mai was 7 years older.. they certainly hyped up Joey and Mai's feelings for each other in the anime....O.O

I agree that 7 years isn't too much when they get to be adults, but Jonouchi's still the equivalent of a sophomore or junior in an American high school system, while Mai's supporting herself already. IMHO, that's a difference that shouldn't be brushed off. (Of course, this is anime, so it could easily work much better than in real life.) ^__^

Jou and Mai's age difference doesn't really bother me, plus I think they work so well as a couple so....lol. I don't really see Anzu with Yugi either, but Yami Yugi's a different story. I could see Yami Yugi with Isis too though.

And despite being a huge Sano fan, I don't really see a Sanosuke X Megumi thing happening. A friendship, yes. Association, yes. But that lovey-dovey crap? Not at all.

My absolute favorite for anime would have to be (so far) Gen'ichirou and Eimi Haneoka - Meimi Haneoka's (Saint Tail) parents. They were just always so cute together, and there was no bothersome angst because they were already happily married.

Ooh, me too! It's so unusual to see a whole, happy marriage in anime that shows no signs of being cut tragically short. And then I find it, and it's so beautiful. ^__^ Those two always make me smile.

Two out of the three couples aren't canon, but oh well. Including video game couples, my favourites would have to be Shinji & Rei, Misato & Kaji (Evangelion), and, my very fave, Aeris & Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII).
