Busou Renkin (Arm Alchemy)

Hey guys the I just watched the first episode of the anime and it was much better than the manga as Ree and I did not like it much. The action and the pplot are interesting but I felt almost like I was watching FMA because of the fact that there are Homuculus and Alchemy but other than that very interesting

Heh you think THAT'S similar, it was like rewatching the first ep of Bleach again^^ There is ALOT more in common with Bleach as far as the first ep goes... I do believe it'll change and get different though but with that ep... if you've seen both first eps, you'd get what I mean^^ I will continue to watch though since it caught my interest, but wouldn't be surprised if people think it's a Bleach knockoff :/

I enjoyed the first episode. I do agree that it's very similar to the first episode of Bleach (er, pretty much the only episode I've seen from that anime...XD; ), but there really aren't too many similarities at all to FMA (though I thought there would be too, at first). It seems that Watsuki's definition of alchemy differs from that of FMA's. Still, I think this series has potential to be pretty good, especially once we see it start to grow into its own. :thumb:

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

Really does remind me of Bleach, but I'm slightly interested as well.

I wouldn't say it's really similar to FMA, since concepts of alchemy and Hormunculi have been around for awhile.

Buso Renkin does seem like a huge mixture of FMA and Bleach. The artwork is alot better than the manga's artwork. Can't wait until episode 2! ^^

FMA meets Bleach, my friends.

I'm following the manga, and just hoping for a dub. :)

I've yet to see the anime but the manga is pretty enjoyable. It definately oozes Watsukiness.
