Sailor Moon

I never thought of this before until now, but Mamoru and Usagi (*glares at Bob while trying to avoid calling them "Darien and Serena") kind of remind me a little of Archie and Jughead, respectively. The latter eats and eats and eats, while the former goes broke in the process.

Sailor Moon is one of my favorites, It was also my first real anime. my friend introduced me to sailor moon and when I saw it i loved it. being a Sailor Moon fan is what got me into Anime.

and as far as favorite Sailor Scouts go, I like them all equally, Both The Outers and The Inners.

And Yes I even Like Amara and Michele.{i like their japanese versions just fine, but I like their american versions a bit better}

I like Sailor Moon too

I got into it when it came out on TV. There was "only" one bad thing: It was dubbed in Swedish!!

I can't believe that I somehow missed this thread! After the box sets from ADV came out last year, I got back into Sailor Moon so much more than I ever was when the dubs were on Cartoon Network. I now own 199 of the 200 episodes on DVD (I've got a fansub of Stars -- I know that they definitely couldn't put a lot of it on U.S. TV if they wanted to). The only episode missing is the episode about Chibiusa and her pet dinosaur that ADV didn't include in the season 2 box (Toei didn't want it in there or something). I also own the three movies, and I'm expecting fansubs of the SuperS specials and "Ami's First Love" (the short film that released with the SuperS movie) any day now. I also own all of the Pocket Mixx manga, except for Sailor Stars, volume 1 (which should be coming any day now, as well).

Not trying to brag; just wanting to emphasize my love for Sailor Moon (okay, so I'm bragging a little).

Oh yeah: my favorite senshi are Sailor Moon (of course!) and Sailor Pluto, since most people are mentioning that.

I went out to Wal-Mart today and bought the Sailor Moon S movie; I'd seen it there before and had been pondering for a month and a half over whether to get it, and finally decided to see what it was like. I wasn't too disappointed. ^_^

I totally LOVE sailor moon it was my first anime and my sister got me hooked to it and i thats why i started drawing.
I dont like the DiC verson so much but i do like the fact that there are no "RELATIONSHIP" between uranus/neptune i really like the 5th season well except for the starlight thing and the Haruka/Michriu (Uranus/Neptune) but recently ive had my doubts that its really not the best thing for us Christians to be watching i mean i love it but...

I own the DVD set of stars and watching it its easy to tell y there are parts between Uranus and neptune and the didnt like umm well u can figure that out the fact that the starlights turned into guys

Actually, I think Pioneer (since they are the ones who did S, not DiC) did a bad thing by making Uranus/Neptune cousins...made them look incestuous. That's my opinion, anyway.

Turned into girls? You didn't pay attention to the storyline, did you? The Starlights were always women. They disguised themselves as men to attract Princess Kakyuu.

At any rate, it would be quite difficult to dub those gender antics, but that isn't really the reason it's not coming to America. The Japanese company that owns Sailor Moon doesn't want us to have it...they figure that the dub companies will butcher it (well, yeah, they will), and that the gender antics of the Starlights will give Sailor Moon a bad rep stateside. Heh.

At any rate, it isn't the American companies. They've already found out that uncut subtitled Sailor Moon sells well. They WANT to bring Stars over.

Me and one of my friends got into an arguement because she didnt want me watching sailor moon she says its bad but i think it has really good morals
