In this show, we talk Nascar Super Heroes, long show names, Fish’s singing career, non-sparkly vampire, and avoid spending the whole show talking about Dr. Who.

Listener Topics/Let's WatchHey, guess what? More audio problems, yay! There's a low ringing coming from Fish's microphone. If it is super annoying, I would post the version of the show I ran through a filter. However, that the filter reduces the range of the audio thus making the audio quality sound cheap.
Also, skype gave us a few connection problems, so there are a few cases where the show sounds choppy.

Ano Hana ("Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai", or "We still don't know the name of the flower we saw that day", or "We still don't know the name of the anime we watched that day", or "Dat Flower")

Live thoughts as I listen to the show:
I need to see more Star Driver.
Hellsing's TV anime was probably bad because Gonzo did it.
I think the Daleks backed up their claims about destroying Cybermen easily, though honestly, I like Doctor Who but I probably care about it as much as Fish.
Redline looks totally awesome so I should go Trava sometime soon. Fish forgot to mention that Big O also features a girl with short hair.
Fish forgot to mention that I once asked for a picture of Fukumoto's ugliest character, and he linked me a picture of Kurosawa. It sounds like the coolest manga ever.
Madoka needs no words.
Gunbuster and Diebuster are two things that I need see someday but I have to decide if I want to pay ridiculous amounts for six episodes. Also, The Wings of Honneamise predates Gunbuster as I just looked up. Also, I'm guessing the nudity is detailed because they were OVAs and not subjected to TV standards.
Nichijou would be about half as excellent if they weren't so serious about everything.
I'm glad Link liked Ano Hana because it ended up being a really great show that is actually like Strongest Man Kurosawa in a couple ways.
Atria's experience getting into anime seems much preferable to my own.
I love that Link's love of guns is genetic.
More thoughts later.

The opening song of the podcast made me happily fangirl.
Yay, Atria you made a fantastic guest! :3
Watch more Doctor Who, Kitchan. I will get rocks thrown at me for this, but the Tennant and past Doctor seasons are much better than the current seasons. >_>;
You would like Madoka Magica, Fish.
Okay, Japanese geek speil time.
Ano hi mita / hana no namae wo / bokutachi wa /mada shiranai - roughly places breaks for short breaths.
Though, me and Link put our heads together and realized the title was more like a poem!
Ano hi mita hana no namae
Wo bokutachi wa mada shiranai
*no one probably cares*
But o hay guys, I could totally drag you into the Japanese chat. *wrings hands together evilly*
/japanese geek spiel
All our lives should all be musicals, Atria. <3
I would also have chosen teleportation, Mech. Cutting out wasted time = win
Okay, time to go read Jojo now for that one character that has that one power. *skips off*
I recall reading the Vampire Hunter D manga a while back. I didn't know there was a movie for it. Better put that on my "to watch" list.
Oh dear, that remix from Nichijou at the end was great. XDDD;

Okay, I have updated the opening post with the show divided into parts. Sorry it took so long, I have been really busy. -_-

Good show, finally got to listen to it.
Tiger and Bunny sounds interesting, a look at the more practical aspects of mecha-type shows, could be fun.
Thank you for trying to repeat the show names, maybe next time it will go further than "oh but you do have to say the whole name!" XD
What was the closing theme from? and that goofy little medley thing after it?
Is the Skype problem something that could be helped by recording each section of the podcast in a separate session (not too separate, just restart the program), or do one of you have a neighbor who randomly starts large downloads and wrecks the connection quality?
