The Myst series. Not necessarily plural, just one zombie early on so players go through the rest of the game in terror.

I just wanted to mention in here that since I've just updated The Traveller's Guide and won't be working on it any more for a while, I would love to hear you guys have your say on it some time -- maybe in Fish's freeware game column.
