Vandread. Two seasons. Yes, Dita will always be a little weird, even till the end, and it doesn't let up so you'll get used to it eventually. If you mean "title music name" as the name of the opening theme song, it's "Trust."

VANDREAD RULES!!!
I dont know if it's true, but my friend says there is a third stage coming out soon... or something. I dont know whether to believe him or not. Aside from that, vandread is very good, and Dita is funny.

Yes! Good to see a Vandread thread on here. Vandread is a great series, and yeah, Dita is quite entertaining and amusing. I'd be very interested in any news on the third stage, if it is indeed coming out.

I don't usually like computer animated mecha. The first one that I really liked was Voices of a Distant Star. How would you rate the mecha animation? Is it a big part of the series? I'll probably end up renting it, but my netflix list is already quite long.

Yea it has fanservice and the women all pretty much have simpy outfits.... there are innuendos too. It can be funny though.

I would rank the fan service as "moderate to heavy." There's no nudity that I remember, but there is fan service elements in every episode. There's some inuendo, but most of it is very early on in the series. After the initial shock of segragated societies being forced to live and work with the opposite sex wears off, it just gets to business as usual so-to-speak.
Over all, a good series. I really liked it. It also contains one of my favorite anime quotes:
PAZU!
SHEETA!
PAZU!
SHEETA!
No, wait, that's a different anime. Here is is:

That about sums it up.

I've watched the whole series and thought it was quite good and fun overall. I like the animation and thought the whole men vs women war was pretty interesting, if not original.
I echo what KisaTohru said: it does have women in skimpy outfits and there are some sexual innuendos. Some of the female characters act like ehh....kinda like dumb bimbos but there was enough cool tough ladies in this title to keep me interested. ^_^;;; I thought the captain was really cool but....... (keep watching to find out what happens.

I've never heard of the movie, but I have both seasons of the anime. There are things in it that could be questionable or offensive to some people, but really, I think that's the case with just about anything, anime or not, out there. The rule of thumb I use is that if the Lord convicts me not to watch something ( this apllies to reading, listening, etc.), I turn it off. No Anime, movie, cd, book...whatever...is worth disobeying the Lord over.
Other than that, I dislike the ending theme. But you don't have to watch that if you don't want to.

LOL!!! BC! Poor Bart. ^^;; I really couldn't help feeling sorry for him.
Fewer innuendos during the second season, of course (fewer mechas straddling each other, thank goodness). Overall, a lovable set of characters, a good deal of WAFF, great graphics, and good use of oldies music. I don't think there's a movie; there are two OVAs, both of which are just basically rehashes of their respective seasons with very little new footage. Was really hoping for a third stage, though. (Gee, that was a really long time ago...)
There's a manga for Vandread too, after the anime came out.
Oh yeah, and I've got dibs on Gascogne as a favorite character. XD (This REALLY is involving a lot of harking back to a long time ago...)
