Who here likes Medabots? ^^;

I think it's funny. ^^

to be truthful, i've never even heard of it...

I watched the first season of it. I wasn't too impressed... but meh, what can ya do?

It was on FoxKids for quite a while.

I think Ikki and Erika were stupid for not ALREADY guessing that...
[SPOILER]Henry was Phantom Renegade. I mean, how much more obvious can he BE? -.-[/SPOILER]
That and the odd animation quality of the show were the only downfalls...otherwise it was very funny...

I like the guy who keeps trying to sell them chicks!

I realize that you asked for other fans of Medabots, a group of which I would not consider myself a part of, but I will respond anyway.

Considering all that I have seen, and I have not been motivated to seek the series in full, I am unimpressed. However, it is a children's anime, so I should not expect much from it. Humor is inherently subjective (this was not a kind that works for me), but my main issue with the series was the lack of fight coreograpy. If a series is going to be typically shonen, I want that aspect to be good.

My son really liked this title when it first came on ABC Family and I would watch it with him. It had it's funny moments.

Not all Anime has to have good fights to be good though...it was just funny how Ikki and Metabee got into fights. And how Henry was always being careless about

Anybody see "The Phantom Renegade: Umasked" episode? That was hilarious!

LOL, yes, this show isn't super deep or anything, but its definitly humorous.

Manager: "*monotone* Henry, where are you going?"
Henry: "I... uh... got a call and I gotta go and i gotta make a delivery and... er... BYE! *rides off quickly*"
Manager: "*same tone* But Henry, we don't do deliveries."

And I also love The Screws... they are sooo funny! Spyke is my favorite character! XD

I loved it when Shamus (the tabloid news reporter) was trying to embarrass Phantom Renegade out of hiding and he dressed like Phantom Renegade (and he's really short and really overweight so it looked really goofy). He was bouncing along down a hill and Erika was filming it right in front of Henry, who was freaking out and getting all embarrassed. Then Shamus split his pants and he had boxers with hearts on them. And then everyone thought that Phantom Renegade ran around showing his underwater.

I wotched the 1st season but then it just got old. but that just me.

It's not so much the story that I liked, I just watched it because it was so hilarious. (and Henry/Phantom Renegade was cool too...^^; ) Like most comedies (America's Funniest Videos being one though it has NO story) don't really have good stories, but they're still funny. It was a nice treat to look forward to on Saturday mornings: half an hour of humor. ^^

I like the concept, but I wish they had made it for an older audience. It's still worth a watch, though. I even am designing my own Medabot.

It wasn't really a little-kid show or a teen show. It was for both. Some things that different audiences will like.

Little kids will love the robots
Older kids will love the battles
Girls will love Henry (it's inevitable. -.-)
Boys will love the explosions
Teens will love the humor

Really it does make sense. I'm getting the manga. I've been craving Medabots lately...I loved it so much, so why not? ^^;

I watched it for awhile when it was on FoxKids.

I'm not really a big fan of it but it could be pretty funny at times.
...although the Rubber Robo Gang is stupider than Team Rocket ever was.

But if an anime is going to have the amount of fighting that Medabots had (or more than) in my mind the fighting must be good. Humor is all relative... and personally I prefer my comedy very different.

The fighting wasn't bad, it was pretty interesting, kind of predictable sometimes though.

Ooh I like Medabots!!! And I thought I was the only one... ^_^ . Rokusho is definitely my favorite character!!! He's a little broody, but hey, I love 'im. I like Space Medafighter X and Phantom Renagade, too (well technically they're the same people, but they're sorta different). But...Rokusho rocks!!!

I only liked the first season, though.

Rokusho's cool...and Baton...so cute! (I have a friend who had a parakeet called Baton, named after the one in Medabots)

I've seen every episode up till around the end of the tournament. Space Medafighter X's substitutes were so funny. They messed up really bad too.

I think I may get the manga. Is it any good?

It's a riot. One of the first manga I ever read. There's plenty the show doesn't touch. You get to read Erika's newspaper. It's funny.
