Ah the power of yardsales. i managed to pick up the first thirteen episodes of dragon ball for ten bucks. the thing is still brand new for crying out loud.
it says for ages 5 and up, so im asuming that its the edited version, right?

EDIT: okay now i have to ask... are there more than one version of the dubbed Dragon ball? or does goku and bulma just have different voice actors later on, and since when does bulma call her dragon ball a bleeper?

Yeah, you need to get the uncut version of Dragon Ball and DBZ, which isn't all that bad for being uncut. They just keep the original story and anime, which is worth it.

its wierd though,i jsut expected some cuts, not it totally being redone. even the music! I expected what i saw on tonnami for the msot part. buts its all atill by funimation but/and something called Trimark home video. but heck, at least i wont have to worry, and besides, ive seen every episode on toonami.

They just keep the original story and anime, which is worth it.
you're talking bout the version i have right?

that sounded kinda a wierd because how could the uncut not
keep the original story and anime, which is worth it.

heh. i tihnk DB might be my favorite story of all time. its like a classic, and its what got me realy started. proobably the most imaginative story ive ever heard of at least.

but what the heck is it with japanese and panty shots!? man! its rather annoying.

but then again, in my neighbot totoro, mei was totally adorable in her daipers, but that hardly counts as a panty shots, even for satsuke when she was cartwheeling her her new yard

(_ _)

EDIT: i wish i had dyno caps. AND ITS A DRAGON RADAR PEOPLE! not a bleeper

[DBFreak]Yeah, they did one version with one dubbing company, different music, voice actors, ect. Then they redubbed it about 1-2 years later, with a different cast, but the original music, which is the version that was on Toonami.
A while back, I picked up a DVD containing the entire Fortuneteller Baba Saga on two DVDs. It. Was. AWESOME. I watched the Japanese of course, uncut, wonderful. Definately a classic, like you said.
