I think I'm putting this in the right place. Anyway, last night I went to perform at my school's art show because I in the band. The band was there and so were the choirs but there was also a lot of art exibits. Now, if you haven't stopped reading by now and are wondering why I'm telling you this it's because all anime and manga is banned at my school (thats my fault), since it's not christian like (I go to a christian school), and at this art show there was art from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Trigun, The Animatrix, YuYu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy X, and a few originals done in anime style. I just thought it was pretty funny and I though I'd share it with you guys.

Yes! You go, little otaku rebels!!! XD I also go to a Christian school, although I don't think any of the teachers even know what anime/manga is, so it's not banned. Heck, kids even draw pictures of South Park characters for their projects!
Honestly, though, just because it's not Christian doesn't mean it should be banned from a Christian school, IMO. I mean, I can understand of course if it's hentai, really gory, or really, REALLY bad morality or Christianity-maligning, but still... Maybe your school's a lot stricter than mine. I mean, we have Harry Potter posters in our library. XD

Well, it's banned because I let a friend of mine borrow Real Bout Highschool Vol. 1and he was reading it in class. BIG TROUBLE! I never even read it though. Anyway, I doubt the teachers can recognize anime except maybe 2, and their cool (both bible teachers/coaches). I thought it was funny when the principle said she'd like to have copies of someof the art hanging in her office

So, manga was banned in your school because your pal read it in class? I bet kids sleep in class at your school-- is that banned too?
