I need to know, because I'm not that schooled in the art of buying anime and judging whether or not it's bootlegged. I know you can find stuff cheaper online, and I want the Kyoto Arc of Rurouni Kenshin.

Just be careful though what you get.

I'm using BestPrices.com now for most of my buying. I've saved a good bit and you don't have to use a credit card. The site allows you to calculate your order and send a money order in for payment. They sell only licensed releases.

K. Thanks. I want some place that doesn't sell bootlegged stuff. Hitokiri, what do you mean by 'be careful what you get'?

Wow...best prices has the RK Legend of Kyoto Boxset for 106. Is this bootlegged? I've seen it everywhere else for more...way more. Like the cheapest up until now was 134.96.

EDIT: Alright...but what do you mean by resources?

First off, yes American dvd players are region 1.
Secondly, just as a note of forum etiquette, it's more polite (and easier to read) if you just hit "edit" and combine all your trains of thought into one post instead of triple posting. Not only is it courteous, but it doesn't waste as many resources.

No, it's not a bootleg. The licensing studio listed is Media Blasters. Therefore, it's Region 1. To my knowledge BestPrices only deals with Region 1 material. I've ordered over 20 DVDs from them and all have been Region 1.
