I love seeing which actors from your favorite aniem plays in another anime you like for isnatnce.

The same person who VA's for Kenshin Himura, Rovert Hayworth, also voice acts for other animes but one I could never guess, Legato Bluesummers!!

The VA who plays Kaoru's voice plays Meryl's voice from Trigun.

Melfina from Outlaw Star plays as Aina Shakalin from MS Gundam: 8th MS Team and also the Warp Gate from Cowboy Bebop.

The VA for Twilight Sazuka from Outlaw Star also plays as Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop and also Yahiko Myojin from Kenshin ::oro??::

Kirby Morrow, the VA for Trowa Barton from Gundam Wing, plays Prince Van in Escaflowne. Also, Johnny Yong Bosch, aka Vash from Trigun, plays Claus in Last Exile.

I usually watch anime subbed, so I'm not very good at picking out voice actors. One that I do think I recognize a lot is the voice of Sasami from Tenchi Muyo (don't know the VA's name), I swear she's all over the place, even in my video games.

The Ocean Group does/did a number of anime programs for Viz, so lots of the voice cast is common between Ranma 1/2, Inu-Yasha and Maison Ikkoku (this last, you have to find them in more subtle places -- for example, the English voice of Genma Saotome is the same as Kyoko's father).

Steve Blum (aka Dave Lucas) the voice of Spike from CB is in just about every anime it seems! I've heard him in Big O, Serial Experiments Lain, Geneshaft, Witch Hunter Robin, Last Exile, and many more I can't think of right now. I like his voice so it dosn't bother me.

He was also in Kikaider I think. I did a double take the first time I heard Spike's VA's name was Steve Blum. One of the guys in our church's music ministry who I've known all my life is named Steve Blum. Of course they sound nothing alike, but I still thought it was weird.

That's pretty funny! If you go to the site BelldandyMewMew posted and search for Steve Blum, you will find the whole list. It's crazy!

i think the english voices of Zero (Pilote candidate), Tai (Digimon) and
009 (cyborg 009) sound the same!! they really do to me!!!

Some of these connections I made myself (such as SM and Excel or SV and Myung) Some I only found on IMDB.

Rika Fukami did the voice of Sailor Venus as well as Myung Fang Lone from Macross Plus. I swear they picked her for those roles primarily because she can scream like no other...

Sailor Moon was voiced by the same person as Excel. What I DIDN'T realize, though, was that she also played Misato on Evangelion.

I was way off on this one... I thought Hyatt (from excel) and Mutsumi (from Love Hina) were the same person... They're not... However, Hyatt's character DID play Ruri on Nadesico... That I didn't expect at all... Those characters couldn't be more different...

Takahiro Sakurai played Sion on The Bouncer and he's playing Cloud on the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children I could have sworn that one of the voices on Bouncer was Akito Hayama from Kodomo no Omocha but I guess I was wrong.

One I just found out was that Inu Yasha is voiced by the same person as Artemis from Sailormoon... I think a lot of the Male voices on anime sound the same... I don't pay attention to those as much as female voices. Plus, I haven't watched subtitled Inu Yasha since the show came out on Cartoon Network...

As for English, Akito and Shinji are the same... Eeew... Akito fits, but not shinji...

Goat Hoarry on Nadesico is the same as the leader of the TAC on Blue Seed. He's also a character on BGC2040 as well.

Tenchi's NA voice was also on "Twilight of the Dark Master" which I don't recommend to anyone.

Sasami's NA VA also plays the little tag girl on Lain... I knew she was Sasami and the tag girl, but I didn't know she was Kiyone too... That's because she uses her "cute" voice for Sasami and for the Tag girl.

Yeah I did, I thought it was pretty cool when I heard it. I think he lives close to my area and he has a Dojo in my city, or used to. I saw him shopping in my mall with his son and wife (or girlfriend) once.

Yea also the guy who plays Vash did a short appearance in Ah my godess the movie. He was the guys who tried to get Morgan to have coffee with him! ^_^

I thought that Inuyasha's voice was also Haku's voice (Spirited Away) but I later found out that they were just similar...

They sound almost exactly alike at the part when:

OMG!! I knew it all along!!! My brother's totally did not believe me when I said they sounded just like 'em.

I found out that the guy who does Vash's voice was the black Power Ranger from the original series. lol.

Oh, and the guy who does Sanosuke's voice is a lot of places too. He played Kimishima in s-CRY-ed and, uh, some guy in Witch Hunter Robin ==[SPOILER=spoilertopic]he did Amon's brother's voice--can't remember the name though.[/SPOILER]

Also, Sesshoumaru's English VA also does Recoome (sp?) and Burter from Dragonball Z. And a lot of other weird ones that I can't remeber. @_@

Cell from DBZ's English voice also does Adult Gohan in the History of Trunks movie, Killa, and South Kai in DBZ.

Ug, I used to have to stupidest crush on the green ranger, Tommy--actor name, from the original episodes when I was eight or nine. lol, I even prayed that he'd get saved so I could see him in heaven.

Half of the Inuyasha cast is taken from Gundam Wing. It fits well.

Oh, and for posterity, Johnny Yong Bosch was the black ranger, not the green or white ranger.

The guy who does Inuyasha (Richard Cox) and the guy who did Miroku both did The X-men Evolution series (Quicksilver and Cyclops)

Actually Richard Cox is allll over. He also did Bit Cloud from the Zoids series, and I swear he's in Gundam Seed, and many many more.

The guy who plays Kyo's voice in Fruits Basket is also the same guy who plays the older version of Conan in Detective Conan.

That all I can think of off the top of my head (that weren't already mentioned I think). It's a fun game to play ("guess whose voice this is") when you are watching a new show for the first time.

Also Johny Yong Bosch, is Kiba in Wolf's rain.

Joshua Seth who plays Knives on Trigun also plays as: Hige (Wolf's rain) and One kid from one of the seasons of Digimon with spikey hair and up.

Eric Stuart voice actor for Brock in Pokemon also plays as: James (Pokemon) and Seto Kaiba.

Seriously, I found out quite a while ago that Terri Hawkes, who did Serena's voice for much of the first two seasons and for the S movie, is from Alberta. I thought that was kind of cool. ^_^
