Just wanted to let you know that AS/MAC studios is coming out with episodes 37-66 in a box set. It may already be out, I'm not sure, the only place I've heard anything about it was from the MAC website. PM me if you want the site address.
I don't know about quality of video, audio, subs...but I've seen screenshots from their 112 episode TV collection of Yuyu and it looks really good to me, very vibrant and very clear. I would imagine that these are R1 rips but I could be wrong.
Once I have some more information on it I'll post it here.

Huh? Yu Yu is licenced by Funimation and owned by Patroit(sp?) bootlegs I presume?

Oh, I don't know about bootlegs. I'm pretty unclear on all of that stuff, but for me, it's a great alternative to prices I just can't afford. Please don't get me wrong, if what I'm bringing up here is wrong then I don't want any part of it.
I like this board too much to get banned from it. That's not my intention, I just wanted to let people know about this stuff. Ultimately it is up to them who they buy these DVDs from. I know that at the rate things are going on Toonami, before their Saturday switch over, they'll only get to episode 54 which I believe is where they landed last time.
If I know my Toonami, I wouldn't be shocked if they started the entire series over from the beginning, for the sake of their "new audience" on Saturdays who may never have watched Toonami, but now watch this new Saturday line-up.
Sorry I was on a tangent, my point is, if you have a problem with this post at all, I'll shut it down if that is in my power so that I don't put a stumbling block before you. I just wanted to let Hakusho fans know that MAC has got this new set out.

It looks like what's in question here are bootlegs. We've kinda rehashed this one already, so if it's all right with you, kingoleer, I'm going to go ahead and shut this one down...
