Why are some anime not on the review list?

I have noticed after looking through the review list that there are a few anime I watch that are not listed. I was wondering if this was because they are considered not appropriate for Christians or if they just haven't been gotten to yet? I'll list the anime below. I did not see any of these on the do not mention list.

Pokemon
Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh GX
Axis Powers Hetalia
Ginga Nagaraboshi Gin
Ginga Densetsu Weed
Wolf's Rain
Avatar: The Last Airbender

If they are on the list then my apologies! I must have over looked them. Looking over the anime review list is very informing and helpful! Thank goodness I read the review for Ninja Scroll! *Shudders* I'd heard of it before and wondered if I should watch it, not anymore! Staying far away from that movie! Not to mention the review for Elfen Lied! I saw the first episode of that a few years ago when I didn't even have many religious views and I had to stop watching after the first three minutes. It seems I can't handle really intense violence, even if it's just anime violence. From the review it doesn't really seem as if I made a mistake by not watching it. The themes for the show seem rather disturbing. I'll admit, I'm not the model Christian when it comes to what I watch, but that is way to much for me to handle. Lol. Wow, I'm really rambling now, getting really off subject. Also, I got a private message and can't seem to be able to reply to it, would anyone happen to know why this might be? I'm new to the site, sorry!

The reason we don't have reviews of a lot of anime is that either nobody has written them, or they have not been approved by a moderator yet. How our current review system works is that each review is written by a member who has seen all of a series (Or most, in the case of long-running things like Pokemon), and if the review is thorough and accurate, it is approved by a moderator before appearing in the database. Now, our policy is that we don't approve a review unless one of us moderators has seen entirely already. However, since the moderators can't watch every anime on the planet, sometimes it takes a very long time for reviews to appear on the site.

We are currently working on how we can improve our review system so that it can work faster and better than it currently does. See this thread for more information on that.

About the PM issue: I'm not sure what could be wrong, but go ahead and start a thread in the Comment Box about it, and we'll do our best to try and figure out what might be going wrong.

do they even accept new reviews, because they said they would email you when they make a desicsion, and i wen to make a review for a game and i messed up and submitted it with only one word, and i thought they would get me in trouble for spamming (and i would have to explain it is an accident) and they never said anything (and that was like 2 years ago) i submited another game review (around the same time) and i never heard anything....

I should also point out that another reason is that in some cases (like Pokemon) the only legal means to view the anime is by watching a heavily bowdlerized version. 4Kids notoriously edits every anime they air, and even make needless edits like the infamous scene where Brock calls a rice ball a jelly donut. (4Kids also has all the Yu-gi-os, btw). Thus, you are not presented with a "pure" version of the anime.

Looks like everyone else answered your questions here, but I checked and clicked around on a few things in your profile, and you should be able to send PMs with no problem now!
