Gundam Unicorn anime's English dubbing cast announced

ANN wrote:The official website for the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn anime series has announced the English dubbing cast:

Banagher Links Steve Cannon
Audrey Burne Stephanie Sheh
Takuya Irei Robby Sharpe
Micott Bartsch Rachael Lillis
Marida Cruz Tara Platt
Suberoa Zinnerman Michael Alston Baley
Cardeas Vist Steve Mann
Syam Vist Troy Baker

Michael Sinterniklaas is directing the English adaptation, and Sunrise is producing it in association with NYAV Post.

The anime adapts Harutoshi Fukui's 10 Gundam Unicorn novels, which are set in the same Universal Century (UC) timeline as Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise's first Mobile Suit Gundam science-fiction television anime series and its sequels. Bandai Visual's first Blu-ray Disc volume for the series will have a simultaneous overseas release on March 12 with Japanese and English dubbing, as well as Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Chinese subtitles. The first of six DVD volumes will ship on the same day with Japanese dubbing as well as Japanese and English subtitles.

The first anime episode, "Unicorn no Hi" (The Day of the Unicorn), will start a two-week "premiere review" run in theaters in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo on February 20. The theaters will also offer advance sales of the Blu-ray Disc release. More details about the "premiere review" will be announced on January 20. Also on February 20, Sony Computer Entertainment will begin distributing the anime on its online PlayStation Store for its PlayStation 3 and PSP consoles.

Simultaneous DVD release? Fricking awesome. Maybe they'll start doing that more often.

This is a much better strategy than their simultaneous TV airing of Kurokami.
