I was on Youtube earlier and I stumbled across this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2CScfyw4Jk

I swear I had completely forgotten about this show but after seeing the first few seconds of that video and the music alot of old memories suddenly came flooding back to me I think this may have been one of the first TV shows I have ever watched and I didn't even realize it was an Anime until just finding it again a few minutes ago and doing some research.

Ahhh good times.

The subject of Superbook comes up pretty often around here. Often as the answer to the question "Is there any Christian anime?"

Anyway, yes. Very good stuff.

Ok sorry I'm new and I didn't know there were a lot of people talking about it already.

It used to be on the Family Channel back when it was called the Christian Broadcasting Network. Along with Flying House.
I hear there's a remake in the works.

Aww, I used to love Superbook as a kid. ^^ I also never realized it was actually anime before I searched Google for Christian anime.

Welcome to CAA, by the way. And if my original response sounded abrupt I apologize. Wasn't intended that way.

It's that scary avatar, Eric. You're intimidating people with your old bust up shield and cardboardy looking sword.

Yes, there is CGI version of SuperBook in the works! 8D It actually looks decent, in my opinion... and they got some decent VAs. A few that have done voices for anime characters.

I've always preferred The Flying House to Superbook because, I feel, that show was better written.

Thus far, Superbook is the only adaptation of the Bible (animated, live action, or otherwise) that takes on (some of) the events of Judges. Props for that, at least.

I think what I remember the most from that opening is Satan Snake with that red flash in his eye.

I remember that used to scare me when I was younger.

Indeed. That, and the whole idea of an entire HOUSE being a time machine is pretty dang sweet.

I love this show! My mom and dad taped like half the episodes for us a while back.
I probably like flying house better, but Super book is still really good.

Memories, I used to watch Super Book (seems like so many others too ^^). I think I used to have a VHS of it, I wonder what happened to it? I haven't really seen Flying House, I think I might of seen like the beginning before.

Wow. I used to watch Superbook at school and church. I don't remember much of it though.
