CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey, everyone! This is my first post here. I've been into anime ever since DBZ aired on Fox Kids all those years ago... Since then, I've grown a bit weary of DBZ, and gotten into some other animes. Anyway, I could maybe use some Christian input on this. I've checked around, but I've mostly gotten secular opinions, which are often very different and sometimes misleading. (I myself am a Christian, and don't want to displease God.) Anyway, what do you guys think of these animes?

Love Hina - I've seen the first few episodes, and loved them. It's probably the funniest anime I've ever seen. However, there seems to be a lot of sexual humor.

FLCL - I love the show, but there is quite a bit of suggestive themes and such.

Evangelion - Never seen it. It seems to be extremely popular, but I've heard it may be offensive to religious people, so I've stayed away from it. I've been dying to see it though. What is bad about it? Should I continue to stay away from it?

This is one of the most popular type of questions here, and the general answer comes down to "it's between you an God."

Much of it has to do with what you consider acceptable to watch/hear.

As for the "no discuss" title, there are people on both sides, and the threads tend to degenerate to bickering because people have strong feelings on both sides of the arguement (for or against).

I haven't seen any of those titles, so I can't comment directly on them. I do believe there have been some threads on them in the past (might try doing a search on thread titles for both FLCL and Hina and see what comes up).

Love Hina - loads of ecchi-ness, and risque taunts. 17+ my option.
FLCL - Very funny! Much better and cleaner then LH. Only 1 partiol nudity part in it. Otherwise a must!
Evangelion - My 3rd favorite anime OF ALL TIME!!!

I've only seen FLCL of the three and personally I loved it 0.o but then again I can't really complain to a "plot" that makes no sense what so ever to me *shrug* I like that lol
