Is the title My-HiME good? Any objectionable stuff in it?

I liked the anime, but I watched it like 3 years ago so I don't remember any objectionable content. Also that stuff didn't bother me back then because I didn't really care...I uh wasn't a very righteous person back then ^_^;;; but I thought it was a pretty good series.

There's your answer.

Heehee, silly Rushiar ^__^ I think he was asking for your opinion :P

I've been looking into, looking into it ^__^

The art looks pretty good. I heard there may be some "questionable" material in it, but that all depends on you.. the watcher ^__^

I really don't like Mai-HiME and all variants for a lot of reasons, foremost the fact that it never evolves beyond the utterly transparent/ludicrous premise. But the people who are going to watch this kind of anime aren't going to take my opinion very seriously.

Oh, well in that case I've only seen the art and I think it looks cute.

I realize that this thread is old, but it's about the series and other user's opinions of it.

I've watched Mai-Hime. I really enjoyed the story and character development. At first it starts out sugary and fluffy but then delves deeper into a more serious plot. The only things I really disliked was the massive amounts of fan service and certain objectionable material (aka: groping, panty shots, girls falling "oddly" on top of one another, some hinted shoujo ai) used.
There is also one girl in the show that's really a guy but there is a reason for that.
Basically if you don't mind loads of fan service go ahead and check it out. If you do mind it though but still want to see a few episodes see if you can rent it somewhere first before purchasing as the boxset is quite a hefty investment. Also, if you only pick-up the first DVD of the show that will most certainly gage all the elements I've listed above aside from a few later on episodes that go a little over the top with it. All in all, I thought it was a pretty decent show unlike it's sequel "Mai-Otome". It's all been done before anime-wise but this one is very much on par in it's genre.

I hope this helps you out!

I think the premise in that spoiler is reversed, no?

Anyway, quite a bit of fanservice, but no nudity or graphic violence. As UC pointed out, the plot is a tad on the far side of suspended disbelief and the ending went so far as to challenege even that.

I did enjoy the series. I enjoyed most of the characters and their development (which is the most important thing for me in this type of anime) but the story was a down-side for me.
