CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey guys,
I just started a site for reviewing lesser known Christian bands and anime. I already have a small amount of anime but was looking for some good short series (8-13 Eps.) to review. I have GunParade March which was pretty good. Does anybody know about .hack//Dusk or Kanon? If you guys know anything I'd be very gratefull. Later.

"Haibane Renmei" is a very good, somewhat lesser-known 13 episode series. I don't think the 4th and final DVD is out yet, though... I think it's set for release in February? I'll have to see, because I want it...

Anyway, I'm not sure if it's your tatse or not. It's not the typical action-oriented anime series. It's a somber fantasy/drama series. I just mention it because it is short (13 episodes no more planned, a completely finished deal, set for 13 episodes), and it's my current favorite... very, very good.

Thanks for the info! I'm definately checking out that one. I've also heard good things about Serial Experiments Lain... Did anybody get into that one?

YES!, Lain is an awsome show (It messes a little with you brain trying to understand it tho) and I think it's made by the same people who did Haibane Renmei isnt it?

I may be wrong, but I think Kanon is hentai.

Whoa! OK, I didn't know anything about Kanon except it's short... It wasn't in the stores Hentai section. I found out earlier though it is based on an H game... Does anybody know anything about it?

From the resources I consulted, the game definitely is H, but the anime doesn't seem to be (much to the relief of several reviewers). That being said, there's no guarantee, and IMHO where there's smoke, there's fire ... I don't think you'd want to communicate any impropriety even if the series legitimately is clean.
