Campiest Season of Sailor Moon?

Contrary to popular connotation, I am not meaning to bash Sailor Moon and its campy conventions, I'm just asking for other people's analysis on which sailor moon season capitalizes the most of these conventions and your opinion on it.

For me its Sailor Moon Super. All the flowers, the classy demeanor of the Outers, it oozes of camp. The director of that season also seemed to love the transformation sequences, because out of all the seasons, Super has them the most. As for my opinion, the camp in Sailor Moon is equivocal to that of the Batman 60's show. It has it, but it in an amiable way.

I don't find much cheese in the original, but the dub is so horrible that it cracks me up. My favorite line would have to be from the episode where Zoicite attacks Rei's grandfather. She was like, "Grandpa! Ever since you fell off the roof you've been acting like a--GRANOLA BAR!"

You made me lol so hard with the grandpa thing I fell out of my chair XD

I aggree. They butchered the dub D: (no offence to any dub fans,I have seen the entire series except for Stars in the dubbed version)

Which we thankfully will never see in English unless some company decides to do a proper remake of the series.

I think SuperS was probably the campiest.

The live-action was.

Going strictly off the cartoon, it was SuperS, hands down. I don't see how you could possibly say it was S. S had the whole deal with the Messiah and the Silence, the destruction of a major portion of a city, suicide, and the Sailor Senshi looking like they'd just been dragged to Hell and back, plus the part where the Outers tried to kill Sailor Moon.

SuperS had a little girl talking to a horse inside a snowglobe and bad guys that looked into mirrors and shot magical billiard balls at people.

The Live Action show was the worst. Good point about SuperS though. I forget how irreverent that season is as a whole. Not that it is atrocious or anything.

Definitely Super S, and it was awesome. I loved it when Tiger Eye attacks that nun:

NUN: (holds up cross)
TIGER EYE: !!!
NUN: Are you hurt?
TIGER EYE: No. I've just seen too many movies. (resumes attacking)

Or when the gang stalks Chibi-usa and comes to the mistaken conclusion that she is lusting after a horse faced man, rather than an actual horse. Or any of the million other times during this season when Sailor Moon was funny on purpose instead of accidentally like it normally is.

Not that I mind when it's accidentally funny.

I've never seen Sailor Moon, but I suddenly get the idea that somewhere I missed out.
