It's not, read the article. They got Blue Gender, Kiddy Grade, and several others. I highly recommend Blue Gender if you can handle the sexuality and graphic violence. It's basically Starship Troopers with mechs.

Say what? I thought they already had it up. I even sent a message to that channel.

But the fact that they do have a channel up is completely "teh awesomeness" even if I do say so myself. :D

EDIT: Oh, now they're adding full episodes. That's way cool. Now...how about putting up a little One Piece, eh FUNimation? Please? :D

A VERY smart idea that's passed due! I know some companies have had streaming video of one episode on their websites for awhile now but I think by having several episodes of a title specifically on; YouTube they will not only be able to interest anime fans in certain titles but also reach out to a broader audience.

I've thought for a long time that more distributors should offer free (legal) streaming anime online, supported by advertising. ^__^ This is great news.

I wonder why Funimation chose Youtube instead of Veoh or Megavideo? Veoh would have made more sense because there is no limit as to how long they have to be same with Megavideo of course. But, oh well I hope they have plans of adding more series episodes in the near future, such as moonphase.

One reason that makes sense to me is that seeing as you can download videos off of YouTube, having them split into parts makes it more inconvenient. That way people will be more likely to actually purchase the episodes instead of just downloading them.

That may be one reason, which then does make sense, however, they also have episodes on their own website so I don't know why they couldn't have a page specifically for the episodes, well, I'm glad they at least are showing a few of their shows but I hope they will do more.

I think the reason why the don't want to use their own web site to host episodes is, If you look at Funimation web site, the only post one or two episodes of a series. Now they can do that on their site without any problems, but if they go and post all of the episodes, then they will need do two things. Keep a few episodes at a time and then take them down and replace them with newer episodes from the series or buy more bandwidth.

If you look at ADV films web site that shows episodes of a series, they post a few up and then take them down to be replace by newer episodes. Now this kind of works, but a lot of time, some fans that are watching the videos that ADV is posting, but then when they forget about it and when they go back to watch them, they already miss a few episodes, because they were taken down.
