So what was your latest anime purchase, and how did you like it?

I bought "Mushishi" volume 1 and "Shuffle!" volume 1 yesterday. Overall, I'm quite satisfied! Mushishi is real quiet, real mystical...it just tells the story and invites you to listen. I love the fact that there's only one recurring character. "Shuffle!" on the other hand is Harem anime taken to another level. Beautifully animated, facinating story line, and great (if not ironic) english voice cast.

The Giant Robo OVA. And I enjoyed the collection enough to link you to the thread where I already talked about it.
