The 5:30 p.m. event is set to reveal the story, voice cast, and character designs, as well as hold a discussion with the director and main cast. Higa and popular voice actress Romi Paku (Fullmetal Alchemist's Ed, NANA anime's Nana Osaki) are scheduled to appear. The television series was originally announced in 2005, after the first Appleseed film opened, and previously described as a 26-episode series scheduled for 2006.
