CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

OK, does anyone know of this series? From what I've seen, the main character is an apprentice monk at a shrine, which has several apprentice nuns at it as well. The monk is simply an ordinary monk for the most part, until he sees something arousing, at which point, he gains incredible spiritual powers of exorcism. It seems quite amusing, though I've only seen a couple episodes of it.

Looks like a MORAL harem anime. I think I should see it and there's also a sequel called Amaenaideyo!! KATSU!!!

Actually, I just figured out that after he does that exorcism, he gets possessed by some sort of spirit of lust, leaps at the girl who triggered his 'awakening', crying out "Thank you, goddess of mercy!" Which is instantly followed by his getting smacked heavily.

There's also a girl with eyebrows that kinda remind me of one of the guys from FLCL, except more feminine.

Hatanaka Ikko, a 16 year old boy, is a first year trainee at the Saienji Buddhist Temple. He was sent there by his parents to be trained by his grandmother, the Saienji Priestess. At the temple he finds himself surrounded by beautiful female priestesses-in-training. Upon seeing a girl naked, Ikko has the ability to turn into a super-monk, performing massive exorcisms for the good of the temple.

No thanks. Sounds rather over-the-top and cliched for my tastes. That and if he's training to be a Buddhist Monk, why is he indulging in such things?

Anyway, this sounds quite interesting, but It'll have to be the cheapest thing on the shelf for me to give it the time of day. If the image on Wikipedia is anything to gauge it by, it looks like it'll have fanservice thrown at the viewer every thirty seconds.[/color][/SIZE][/font]

Well, yes, but it doesn't actually show anything beyond the occasional panty shot, surprisingly.

looks like a cliched harem series with over-the-top fanservice and probably doesn't really offer anything new.

jon_jinn, it's not what you think. This anime has fanservice at a level of something like, say, Ichigo 100% or Moetan. It never goes beyond an occasional panty shot or swimsuit. However, I don't really think it's as good as Moetan. That show is really original, and the true meaning of that series is crazy: to teach otaku English.

Hey, this series has a pretty original storyline, too. I won't comment on whether it was better than Moetan, as I have never seen that series, but I have also never seen a series where the main plot involves a monk who derives power for exorcisms through sexual arousal!
