CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

has anyone else watched this anime. i watched like the first ten minutes of the first episode and was amazed. the graphics are FIRST RATE and believe me when i say FIRST RATE. though i couldn't quite grasp the concept of the story, the opening fight sequence was a real stunner. the music was also pretty good. i wonder how this anime'll turn out since it's only 3 episodes long...

ANN says 6, 3 on that DVD and 3 will be coming out on the next DVD, (so I assume) whenever it'll be appearing in stores.

The second volume has a release date of Apirl 3rd.

yeah. i heard that the series itself isn't finished yet.

Exactly what is the series?

Here's a summary: The old Karas is dead, killed by an evil ex-Karas who now named himself Ekou. He started a series of murders against humanity by making his loyal youkai drain the body fluids from humans. Otoha ,a young man who just woke from a coma, is chosen to be the new Karas. Him and his trainer, Yurine, start the fight against the evil forces of darkness that are triyng to conquer the city of Shijuku.

It's deffinately one of the best looking anime I've ever seen, but the story... the writting just isn't up to snuff. It's WAY too hard to tell what's happening because that last scene was too busy looking cool to actually make sense. (I'm sure the short running time is partially to blame, but still...)

so, you've seen the anime? well yeah the story is confusing, but i'm sure that it'll make sense if you rewatch it...

I've adored the first part ever since it was released stateside. It's just so different and VERY entertaining.(AWesome animation) But they keep delaying the second part!! Ugh, the first supposed release date was something like last November...now I think it's something like late September...Rgh.

I actually have seen the first DVD in stores around here. I never thought much about it since I didn't know much about it. But now that I see the trailer, I might actually pick this up.

The only thing I'm a bit worried about is if there's any nudity/sexual content. Anyone know?

rejoice my friend. for both sexual content and nudity are absent from this anime.

yeah. i was pretty skeptical about it too. to ruin such an awesome anime with senseless nudity and such was pretty dumb, but to my amazement, there wasn't any sexual content or nudity. this makes the series so much better!
