CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

It's interesting to know what anime people use to obtain their avatars, especially when the characters are from a series we probably have never heard of. So I thought it might be fun to find out about the anime avatars on this board.

What series is the character/thing featured from and why did you decided to use it? Since some people tend to change avatars every now and then, let's consider this thread as a snapshot of your anime avatar at the moment.

My avatar is the Kpop singer Lee Jung Hyun. Why? Because I like her music.

The Main hero from Dragon Quest VIII. I like the character, though he's one of those "mute" RPG heros. Backstory is pretty cool and fraught with mystery. Also, the character design is just awesome. Check out his mouse! The mouse breathes fire if you feed him cheese.

Mine's Balthier, from FFXII. XD 'Cause he's a pretty cool guy. I'm thinking about finding another one soon, though. I need to browse through my picture collection again. XD

Eluluu/Eruruu from Utawarerumono. She's cute, and ... well ... she's cute ... and ... umm ... she's cute. Even when she's angry.

Though she isn't quite as cute as her little sister.

Aruruu. She's cute, and well, cute, and in a phrase... cute and uh, let's see, cute... what else...? Cute, that's it. And very very, very.... cute.

And she is cuter than her older sister.

This is ChristianKitsune's Chubby Chibi form! She is from the anime called "CK's Sketchpad of Cuteness!" Since I am the only person able to fully view it, I guess it falls under the "Share this anime that no one has heard much about!" Category!

CK's Chubby Chibi form is like an uber cutified version of an already cute version! She is very cute, and because she is so cute I use her all the time! She has quickly become my cute mascot! Why? Well lookee her! she is cuuute!"

XD sorry... I dont usually use anime avatars...but I do enjoy looking at them! And trying to guess what anime they are from! ^_^

My avatar right now is a fanart of Jasdero and Debitt, the Noah twins from D.Gray-man. Why? Because they're far and away my favorite characters in the series - they have very eye-catching character designs, and such...animated personalities. XD;

The avatar I had before was chibi Debitt, and I'm pretty sure the one before that was chibi Jasdero. XD So, uh, yes. Small obsession right now.

My avatar is Alexander Vorg Zangief (aka Vorg) from Hajime no Ippo. He's just a cool dude. I can't say much about him without being spoilery, unfortunately. My user title, "white fang", is his special punch.

My avatar is Rorschach from Watchmen. Watchmen is my favorite Graphic Novel, and Rorschach is one of my all time favorite characters.

Avatar is the traveling guitarist Yabukie Joe from 20th Century Boys. He "Was dead in heaven," but is now traveling Japan, and is often confused for an invader from space. In brief, he's awesome.

I might change it sometime in the near future, though.

im sure most people know where mine came from but for those who dont, it is the kissing scene from Inuyasha: Castle beyond the looking glass. Im thinking of changing it soon tho so if i get a differant one i will post it here too

My avatar is the cute but deadly Ilyasviel von Einzbern ("Ilya" for short) from Fate/Stay Night. Mostly because she's cute and deadly, but still a good little girl on the inside. I wanna hug her! >///////////<

This is a sketch I did quicky because I got bored of having a gun-toting Italian agnostic semiotician as my avatar.

Mine's Raquel from Scrapped Princess, mostly because she's my favorite female anime character. (I own her fanlisting. So click here to come and join if you like her too! ) < / shameless plug >

She's also close to me in age, and I am the oldest of 3 siblings just like she is.

I tend to make avatars from my own art, but my current one here's an exception. It's Vincent Law from Ergo Proxy, (which I'm really into right now). I've only seen the first 8 episodes so far, but it's stacking up to be one of my favorites. *crosses fingers for a good ending* 'Non Mi Destar' is relevant to the series and is Italian/Latin for "Do not awaken me."

Mine's Takumi Mayama. We're both young guys struggling to act mature but still screwing ourselves up with confused choices...

Mine is Mitsuki Sanada from Dual!Parallel Trouble Adventure.She's my #3 favorite all time female anime character along with Yuki Saiko from Silent Mobius and Kagome from Inuyasha,which also happen to be my other two favorite all time
animes.
Mitsuki is also the type of girl I would love to marry one day.

It's not from anime. It's from a comic book, Thieves and Kings. I like the art of this character, so I put her in my avatar. I used this picture (with the frown), because that's the only one I could cut the right size for an avatar. Sad but true.

Mine is a character I made up.
It's from an manga series I'm writing and illustrating called "Testament Eschaton".

His name is Gabriel. He's the main character.

My avatar is of Ein from the live action Cowboy Bebop.

Mine's Kanna from Air. The summer arc was my favorite, which is why I chose her.
