Petite Princess Yucie

I just wonder if anyone else has watch this series?
I purchased the thin pack box and finished watching it last Sunday.
The story is about a young girl named Yucie who is 17 years old but has the body of a 10 year which is part of a spell caused by a the Tiara of Eternity. Her adopted father, a knight and nobleman, found her in a village that was attacked by evil beings who kill everyone in the village. The knight followed the light sent by the tiara to mark her and four other girls who are princeses from different worlds. The Spirit, Demon, Fairy Worlds and the Kingdom of Heaven.
The girls have to attend the Princess Academy to be come a Platinum Princess to wear the Tiara of Eternity.
The girls must perform odd jobs and task as part of their training even thou they are rivals but as time goes on become dear friends where when the time comes four of them will sacrifice their lives so that one will become the Platinum Princess.
I will not go into the complete ending or other parts of the series because I figure some will want to see the series to see the real ending. But at the very end there is a part where the characters do say "See You Soon"
Now does this mean a second season of this series?

I love this series. The anime is loosely based on the Princess Maker game from Gainax and is a lot of fun to watch from start to finish. Cocoloo and Yucie are both awesome, but Elmina is by far my favorite of the whole cast.

As much as I'd like there to be another season of this series, I personally doubt that this will happen, seeing as it's been almost 4-5 years since PPY first aired.

Sounds like an interesting take on the mahou shoujo [magical girl] genre.

: : snickers : : I'm sorry, but I was just tickled because the name "Yucie", I imagine, is pronounced a lot like UC . . .

I think the "C" is silent so her name is more like Yuie

I think the C sound is only slightly silent, and in both the dub and sub her name is pronounced "Yu-she".

I really enjoyed this series. I consider it one of the best that Gainax ever put out.
