There's an anime worth making a movie about, and as long as their isn't a total nutjob for director this really isn't a series that'll be easy to screw up, so I have high hopes.

BTW, I heard they got Uwe Boll as director.

I figured that this was just some rumor-- but no. The Wachowski brothers really are waiting on the green light from Warner Brothers to do a live action speed racer. What on earth is going on here. . .

*secretly wishes that they'd decide to make a live action version of another anime that will probably nEVA' get is live action day in the sun.*

I think the Keanu Reeves rumor is old by now.

I think the Uwe Boll joke has been overdone too many times, on this forum and over all, hence the disrecognition of the sarcasm.
