Finally! SOMEONE Mentions Metropolis! It's a classic anime movie! What really struck me about that one is the fact that they use Ray Charles "I Can't Stop Loving You" during the whole "crumbling down" sequence. That rocked!

Back on subject, I love "My Neighbors the Yamada's", "Barefoot Gen" and "Nadia: The Legend of Fuzzy" or soemthing along those lines. "My Neighbor Totoro" is cool, but it's a little too sappy for me. Just a little...and, while "Akira" is a good movie, it's complicated to da extreme!

Yeah, it's a good thing all Otomo's movies aren't like Akira. Then I never would've discovered his other gems.

Spirited Away
Millenium Actress
Howl's Moving Castle
Kiki's Delivery Service

While I liked the Inuyasha movies, they're not in my favorites list. I think they could be described as good, hour and a half long fillers with a lot of squish(and are much cheaper than the DVDs of the actual series).

Interesting if you watch Gundam Wing:Endless Waltz one thing that will surprise you is that Relena has changed her name from Peacecraft to Dalian because while she remains a Pacifist she is no longer a TOTAL Pacifist but rather recognizes that there are times when fighting becomes necessary.
