I've been out of the anime/manga loop for a bit and was wondering if you fine people could recommend some good anime and/or manga series(es). I'm really looking for a good shojo series in manga as for anime I really have no preference. Thank you in advance.

Heh lemme guess you watched the dub of Prince of Tennis well to be blunt the dub sucks XD But really the original is like really good if you like tennis if you don't like tennis I don't really think that you would like it. If you play tennis watch if you don't then don't watch it...

Shouldn't this go on the Anime board?

Mega.EXE: I like animes even if I don't like the subject matter. SO I may like it seems like a good concept.
mitsuki lover: I didn't put in the anime category because I am asking for recommendations for both anime and manga. But I guess I probably should've put it in one of them...sorry.

What is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya about? Sounds interesting. I think I've heard of Full Moon wo Sagashite. Whats it about?

Princess Tutu. I know the title is cheezy, but it's one of my favorite animes. It's awesome and nearly misses being cliche. It's a magical girl show. The ending is also amazing. ;3;
Honey and Clover has just been licensed, so I suggest checking that out. It's a slice of life anime, no magic or action, but it's really lovely. Another one of my favorites. :3

check the anime review. it's a very good shojo manga that's only 14 episodes long. it's one of my top 3 animes. an excellent anime that may leave some confused. i thought that it was a good thought-provoking anime with a touch of every genre.
