This good? Or bad? I really wonder, having grown up with the show.

I am more interested in the new Highlander film starring Adrian Paul that will be released along with the anime movie. The director of the Highlander anime is the same person who did Ninja Scroll so I imagine it will be pretty violent and intense. I loved the Highlander TV series because of the lighthearted aspect of it. Still, I'll be sure to watch both simply because I love the series (and it will be an anime that my husband will actually watch with me =P w00t!).

I'm really excited about this. Yoshiaki Kawajiri is an anime master. He also did Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust & the short "Program" from the Animatrix. Anything involving a such a good director nowadays is reason enough to be excited amonst all the total crap titles saturating the market.
