Unintentional humor?

When I watched the new Kaishaku anime, Kyoshiro To Sora wa, I was laughing throughout the whole first episode. Why, here are somethings I can list.

Sakura petals? Check.

Main bishounen inexplicably playing violin? Check.

Ridiculous teacher designs? Check.

Monologing in third person? Check.

Shirt ripping? Check

Flying white horses with meido and catgirls and mecha? double check.

Either this is a straight faced parody anime or I just stumbled into someone who threw all the cliches from shoujo into a new show.

Watch it. It's good :thumb:

It's Kaishaku's answer to Tsubasa Chronicle. It's destined to be at least a little bit ridiculous.

I like it though... *<3s Kuu*

If it's a parody of cliches from shoujo, it must be good. XD

I can't make this up. Ep 2 was so very wrong, as in Street Fighter the Movie + Snakes on a Plane wrong.

Best comedy of 2007 spring anime?

I'm guessing you're referring to THAT couple... well, this is from the creators of Kannazuki no Miko, so I was kind of expecting that...

It wasn't so much the yuri pairing as it was the general sexploitation feel of the whole pairing.

How Kuu reacts to the yuri in her monologue is almost Kyon class. "The school was destroyed, but that's not important cause I got my first kiss!" "Kisu! Yuri onnanoko kisu!" I guess Kaishaku realised they're to some of the worse urges of the yuri otaku community and decided to have fun with it.

I wanted to get offended, but I was too busy laughing.
