I actually re-started the bleach fillers XD Started episode 86 yesterday, now I'm 2 episodes away from the end of the filler.
Can't wait till the next episode. The next... canonical episode that is. XD

Not quite that excited, but I will be generally glad. It will be interesting to see the Arrancar fight and though the filler plot wasn't atrocious Kubo Tite's is better.
I will say this for the fillers: I liked the last episode. When I began it I was terribly cynical, assuming it would be a ton of poorly written comedy, weird scenes, and plenty of melodrama. But what they did with echoing the beginning of the series and in essence dividing the anime in half (a fitting division, in my mind, unless the series progresses very differently than I predict) I thought it was actually pretty good.
However, I must wonder if they'll have to make another filler arc. The manga has a good jump on them, but they'll catch up quickly.

i seriously think that they WILL have another filler arc. if not, then they'll probably end the anime series. i highly doubt that they will take the latter action as the anime is way too popular.

Same here; studios are out to make money above all else. However, I wonder if they'll have an easy way to insert a filler arc. If the Hueco Mundo storyline ends with another pause they could easily add one, but eventually the manga is going to reach what I presume will be a massive final arc that it would make no sense to interrupt with filler.

They could probably throw in alot of filler during the Visored training, I would think.
I haven't really watched alot of the Bleach anime, and I'm not particularly excited enough but this Arrancar arc to really care downloading it or anything. =/

I'm still waiting for it to be subbed though! Galldarnit! Maybe I should become proficient in Japanese in the next day and just watch the RAW. XD

If I was following the sub, I would probably be throwing a party with myself right now.
Unforunatley, I'm following the dub. That means you guys just made it through the fillers, but my session has yet to start.

arg, as someone who follows the anime first its hard to navigate any Bleach threads without having to worry about jumping around potential spoilers.

In the last episode of the filler, I really liked Ichigo's Monologue. I thought it was worded really well and had a good message. Mixed with the background music (that I really loved) I felt that episode was really good too.

say, is the dubbing for Bleach any good? in comparison to the subbed version.

I'm not sure you'll get a cohesive answer on that. Personally, I think it's equivalent, but I wasn't particularly enamored with the Japanese voice actors.

Sorry about that. I try to limit my spoilers to vague references and edit others posts to reflect this, but I'm not everywhere at once. Are you following the Japanese or American anime? If the former, don't worry: there isn't anything to be spoiled like the twist at the end of the Soul Society arc. If the latter... I suggest making your own thread or looking into the Trinity Blood / Bleach thread. Most people here are watching from Japanese television.

Like UC said, it varies widely with taste. When I watched the first dubbed episode, I had to stop after about 30 seconds 'cause I couldn't take it.

my friend lended me his bleach episode one dubbed (he got it from shonen jump). it wasn't the BEST dubbing, but it was decent. actually, i sorta think that ichigo's voice sounds a little like goku's in dbz.
