Has anyone seen this series? I've seen it at Best Buy and Hastings, and the animation/graphics look really good, but I know nothing about it, nor about the content.

Broken Saints is an awesome story, and I got it on an impulse. I would equate it with Evangelion... if you can't or don't want to watch NGE, then don't get Broken Saints. My age rating is 17+. I forget the names, but the characters basically speak for themselves.
Here are the most glaring offensive material.
Bad Theology -
One of the characters is an Islamic extremist who in the beginning questions Allah. To overcome each of their traumatic experiences, the priest slips mushrooms into their tea. Welcome to the land of meditation and zen! The female main character becomes an Anti-Christ character after getting plugged into a tv mounted cross in a psuedo-crucifixion. She then changes around and sends a world wide happy face and it ends all pantheistically.
Sexuality and Nudity -
The four male protagonists go to a strip club to hack into the big evil corporation's CEO's computer and listen in on the typical plot developing converstation. The female main character appears in one of the booths. She was drugged and put there and the guys get her out of there.
Violence and Blood -
The girl's cat is shown cruxified, eyes gouged out, and the eye of Sauron (not techically, but come on it might as well be!) cut into its belly. (EDIT: after the fact of course) Yeah... if you can't stand that then its better not to watch any further. It made me twitch for quite a bit afterwards.
Language - Every curse word is used from what I remember. Some really disgusting innuendos come into play.
Its graphic, but the story is a whole lot better then what Hollywood throws out. In summary, if you can handle or like Evangelion, then this is a good series to add to your collection.
Otherwise, I give it a .

Thanks for so quick a content review and summary. I guess we probably shouldn't discuss it too much further. I haven't decided whether or not I'll look into this one, but I'm still a bit interested. We'll see.
