From ANN -
"Media Blasters has confirmed to Anime News Network that it has passed on its option to acquire Aa Megami-sama: Sorezore no Tsubasa, the second season of Ah! My Goddess (TV)."
Looks like it's been unlicensed again... that so werid though that they picked it up, it's a popular series and at the last minute "well, on second thought..." I never did finish the series because of the licensing soo *goes off to find batch torrent of missed stuff*

O_O!! *kills animeworks* Why are they suddenly pulling an ADV and not licencing the second season. gaaaaargh! Now I'll probably never watch any of the show dubbed. The fansubbers better get back on it, I deleted all my old files of it when I found out it was licenced -_-.

From my understand, That they couldn't afford the asking price that Japan company wanted.

From what the Media Blasters rep on animeondvd's forums said, it sounds like it's still licenced, just by someone else. *hopes it's true*
"At the cons we said we wanted to do it but it was not definite. I do not remember what exactly we said at AnimeBoston but in the end it will not be us and I am not sure who did pick it up. I found it in my recent trip to Japan that the licensor went with someone else. We gave them our best offer but they went elsewhere.
When we licensed AMG we paid at the height of the bubble and it was a crazy amount of money and hope to just break even by the end of the license. AMG did well if it was 2002 prices but not enuf for 2005 and while it got in places like Walmart do not count it for the future based upon performace. We did not have our A title at the height of the bubble and needed one, so AMG was it. While the bubble and prices have come down alot, it still has not come down to earth and most importantly with Voltron just destroying all our past records that were held by Zim, Kenshin and Berserk, we no longer are worried about the "A" title for anime in 2007. We will still be releasing more anime like Girl Meets Girl, Ranmen Girl (??) and GIRLS HIGH and alot others but it is better to play it smart.
Also right now in Japan the big issue is DRM and Digital rights...so it is getting a little crazy since it seems that Blu Ray and HD DVD are just being jumped over and everyone is talking Digital...
Well anyway sorry we will not be able to give you Season 2 but I am sure the next company will do a great job.

That was false. It was reported that one time that Media Blasters pick it up and it was denied that every time.
My understanding is this, it was never pick up untill now.

I'd be surprised if they do. I don't think an animeworks voice actor has ever appeared in an ADV dub.
We'll probably end up with Tiffany Grant playing Urd, and Kevin Corn as Keiichi or something ^^
