CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

What anime/manga do you think is influenced by Studio Ghibli? Here are some I think fit:
Inuyasha
Please Save My Earth (Saki Hiwatari, the creator, even says Isao Takahata is one of her favorite creators. So I'm sure Ghibli influenced this title somewhat)
Maison Ikkoku
Azumanga Daioh
Vision of Escaflowne (with its strong female protagonist, it certainly seems Ghibli influenced. Ghibli is well-known for strong female protagonists)

Azumanga Daioh? Influenced by Ghibli? o_O How so? They seem pretty much on opposite spectrums to me...

Anyways, I'm not sure if some of the anime you mentioned are influenced by Ghibli as much as they share some similar qualities. I mean, just because an anime has fantasy elements doesn't mean it's been strongly influenced by another anime (though it is possible). *shrugs*
