It has innuendo, Violence, and Language. I think it might be ok. I have only watched eps 1-11 so far.

yeah. bleach should be pretty okay for someone your age. the manga's rated T and i think the anime's less graphic so it should be okay. not that much sexual content and stuff like that but there's lots of fighting. if you can handle naruto, then it shouldn't be that bad. as for cowboy bebop, maybe. i'm thirteen and i've seen the entire series but i'm not sure about you. check out the reviews if you want and you could PM the author of the cowboy bebop and bleach reviews. however, the author of the bleach review gave the violence level a 9 and i really disagree with that. however, that's a totally different concept so i'll stick to the subject.

Others have given good overviews I see no need to repeat. If you want more specific details on content, read the manga review below and then mentally tone it down slightly:

But the real test of this is you. It might be helpful if you were to tell us what anime you have felt were acceptable or unacceptable and we will tell you how Bleach compares.

well, my dad lets me watch inuyasha and naruto.

I'd say you should be fine. Give the first few episodes a go then if your dad desides against it then it will be settled. I don't beleave Bleach is worse than either of them.

thanks for letting me know. doesn't bleach have cutting off arms though?

Bleach does have some arms being hacked but not from humans only from hallow. They bleed but its not an over the top fountain of blood its realistically dipicted without being to bloody

so it is not horribly bloody or anything?

No. Its not to bloody there is blood but nothing worse than that of (uncut) Kenshin I don't think. Like i said give the first ep a try because it gives a good feel for whats to come.

also, if you've read naruto and seen kakashi's chidori (lightning blade) against haku, then it's probably not any worse than that.

Don't worry that wasn't rude at all. And I really can't give my oppion for either since I have not seen the full versions of ether and thanks for the info. But just try not to double post to much specially since it seem both of you post stated the same thing.

But the blood is still mostly limited to impact shots and being coughed up, as opposed to coating battlegrounds. I wouldn't say it is as bad as the Chidori in Naruto, nor is blood going everywhere as in Berserk.

However, you do make a good point: if sheer volume of blood bothers you, then later on the series will make you uncomfortable. I have Senbonzakura in mind in saying that.

however, i think it would be wise to keep in mind that later on in the story when the soul society saga picks up, there's RARELY any killing. though, there are many attempts, there's a very low rate of deaths that take place.

Andrewshka wrote:An intersting assumption. But just look at the wall with Aizen, also look at the fight with captain of the 11th squad, there is tons of hits that he takes and just keeps on going it is a little disturbing to see how much he love to fight. That is about the worst, but you are right I guess. But it has about as much blood as a war movie or gladiator. Think about it that way, i do agree that no one dies so that is a positive. That is all I have to say for now, but I am enjoying this descussion.

yes. i must agree with you on aizen. that scene was rather disturbing and quite surprising as well.

I wonder as to what point you are commenting about Aizen from. That's all I'll say on that for the time being, though further comments are likely to need spoiler tags. But I personally didn't find that very disturbing.

Andrewshka wrote:An intersting assumption.

Also a well founded one. So far in Bleach, no one has died except in flashbacks. Nameless characters don't count, but even almost none of them have died.

yes. the worst it would get is when a character is confronted with death or the theme of killing in order to gain something. most of the time, after an intense battle, either both or one of the characters would usually just lose consciousness.

yep. however, hollows are already (basically) dead.

Most of the characters are already dead, actually. Everyone except the main bunch of protagonists, really.

But let me also say that this thread has completed its topic, and we probably shouldn't keep it going too long. It has served its purpose; if you want to discuss Bleach overall that can be done in another thread.
