Hey, guys, I know I haven't been on in bout 2 months so I appologies for the random appearance without much of an explanation (holiday/university/church etc) but I've finally decided to buy some more anime 'shock horror' (for the first time in about 10 months :S).

So yeah, I was looking at Heat Guy J, Gilgamesh and King of Bandit Jing and came on to check the reviews section. I read the Heat Guy J 1 (sounds awesome) but nobodies put one on about Gilgamesh or King of Bandit Jing.

Anyone seen them who'd like to give me a brief description of the suitability of them (detailing sex, religious stuff and anything else that springs to mind if possible). Cheers guys. Oh, and its nice to be back ^^

I love Jing King of Bandits. It is a really cool world with nice characters and a good story. It is not a compelling anime, but it is really fun and enjoyable. I say give it a try, I really liked it.

As another small review on Jing, it was amusing... one of the series that I'll probably ever end up watching once, but I guess worth at least ONE watch through. As for content issues... just minor violence, nothign too bloody or anything, and most are comical (if I remember correctly). Nothing too fanservicey... might be ONE case of nudity (if anyone remembers the art ep could you comfirm?) Been a whiel since I've seen it^^ Either than that, just very minor comments, due to a bird with a one-track mind. But nothing too bad... once again from what I remember^^

Oh, and the 3-part OVAs are just plain wacked^^ I'm not into the werid/abstract series like that one was :/

Well, I actuall finished Scryed today! :D I saw the fansubbed version, though, and I heard that it had much more cursing than the DUB, and I saw several uses of the F word in the subbed version, although the subber could have mis translated.

Now, on to what I think about it. Its a little slow at 1st, then a few eps in you will feel kinda hooked, then a few more and you will be hook-line-and-sinker hooked with this anime. The animation is great, and the music fits it well.

It is 100 percent shonen, though, so be ready for lots of big fights and "levelling up".

I would definitely reccommend it to you. Also, my avatar is from Scryed. :D

S-Cry-ed is one of my favs and the Dub has no f-words at all.

Thats good. Hopefully it was an accidental mis interpretation on the part of the subber.
