Christian Anime voice actors wanted?

Postby Tigerchu » Sat Aug 19, 2006 12:14 pm

Is this the right place to put this thread?

Is there any company or studio out there that is making Christian Anime, or an Animated show with clean language, that is looking for voice actors?

I have an interest in voice acting, but I only want to use clean language.
Have faith
-From somewhere in the Bible, and I agree with it

-God will only give you what you can take. He will not overwhelm you.
-From somewhere in the Bible

-Your faith becomes stronger when it's tested.
-I saw a Chinese guy with a cross on his restaurant desk in America. That's so cool. You can do that here. Not so much China.

I've recently been learning that I don't need to be "loud and pushy" to Evangelize; just living it out is enough witness. The problem was that I grew up around strong Evangelists (Korean Christians) and they were really into getting people involved and setting out to Evangelize, and me being a a yes-man (or yes woman) I was into trying to convert people.
I've been learning this lesson over the years, but have been trying to be pushy. Now I'm trying to ease off.

You have to take drama in college and also voice lessons,so keep that in mind.
I think also that you would have to either be willing to move to Canada or Texas
as they're the only places I know where they do the voice work for anime in the dubs.Canada,Vancouver,B.C.,is where Ocean Studios are located, the studio that does a lot of the voice work for Viz.And of course we all know that Funimation is in Texas.
There may be other studios that do voice work but those are the two that I am
most aware of.

I don't know of any studio that makes Christian anime. I also don't think voice actors are in that much of a demand that they get to dictate whether or not they get to lend their voices to speaking roles that only have clean language, unless you're awesome good or awesome famous. But hopefully, if you keep working at it, you'll achieve your dream, or interest. ^^

Like I say plan on taking drama plus debate, and any other type of class that would help in college.
Also have Plan B and Plan C ready just in case you don't make the grade.
