Okay, Oregon's largest (and possibly it's only REAL) anime convention is happening at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion inn (a big big place) in Portland (or, rather, closer to Vancouver, Washington) from Saturday, Sept. 2nd to Monday (Labor Day), September 4th

Guests this year are, so far:

Bakazoku (Cosplayers)
Greg Dean (Webcomic Artist, Real Life Comics)
Brad DeMoss (AMV Creator)
Dr. Antonia Levi (Author / Professor, Portland State University)
Joshua Seth (Voice Actor)
Toshifumi Yoshida (Producer)

If you are a CAA-er and living in the Pacific Northwest, or are travelling to this convention, I'd like to get a meet-up happening. It's more than a month away, but to get people together, it's gonna take that long.

Also, if there's anything y'all need to know about it, I'm in class with the marketing director (both taking Japanese 101-103 over the summer). So pepper with questions. ^_^

I'm planning on it... If I can get the money. It'd be great for a CAA meet! If anybody needs me, I'll be the tall one dressed as Molly (Oban Star Racers) ... I think...

Look for me as either Kimura from Azumanga Daioh, or as this guy walking around aimlessly.

Most small cons don't get as much caa people meeting together unfortunately. The only ones with a decent CAA attendence are Anime Expo (California) Otakon (Maryland) and some in Anime Weekend Atlanta (Georgia)
