Well, folks, looks like we have another WWII-related anime to break out the kleenexes for. Geneon has re-released Barefoot Gen, which takes place right when we dropped those A-bombs on Hiroshima.

I have the first DVD release that came out...BEST WWII movie that I ever seen! I highly recommend, before checking out the movie, that you read the manga. The manga tells more about Gen's family life that the movie leaves out, and I think it would be a great way to compare the two. On another note, I started a topic about this movie a few months ago, but nobody replied to it! What's up with that?!
